I am no expert. How can I install these meters? Taking the exes into the autostart folder and establishing a link in the taskbar?

Furthermore, clicking Open Task/Resources Manager doesn't work: none of these application is run :( Very strange...

As another guy already asked it, I would like the % to be displayed in the button.

left and right speaker peaks a bit like audacity output level meter ,

with top half left speaker bottom half right speaker.

or even 5.1 peak meter like srs audio sandbox

with maybe middle mouse button to mute, and left to select and scroll for volume.

your meters are brillant .

i also like the idea of a download meter to monitor either download peaks and upload peaks OR both,

eg top half upload bottom half download

New Post: Just had to say thank you

Thanks for the feedback, compliments are appreciated!

New Post: Temperature meter?

Folks,

I looked into this a while ago and it looks like much of this information is proprietary, i.e. there isn't a nice abstraction via API. So I won't be taking it on, but the source is here in CodePlex so anyone else that would like to give it a go is more than welcome!

New Post: Suggestion for design of icons

I'm not bad with the odd graphics application and was wondering if you'd be interested in some custom made icons for the gadgets? The gadgets are using windows icons right now which look good to me, but they could look even better/targetted and fit more snugly into the space they're confined to.

I hope you don't see this as a critisism, it's really not. More an offer of help in the only area I'm good at as a way of thanks.

New Post: Great job, some usability suggestion

14mb is enormous?

I'm using two right now which consume 36mb out of 4gb I'm really not raising an eyebrow.

In years gone by I would have refused to install anything that started with Windows that used more than a few mb, but times have changed and it just doesn't seem important anymore.

That's always been a gimmick of a thing anyway. Nobody actually uses it to task switch do they? really? hehe

Windows has been crying out for gadgets that do exactly this in the taskbar. You not only did it but made them as stable as any addon to windows I've ever used.

Brilliant job.

New Post: Does it support 4core x64 system?

I've got them running on a four core x64 windows 7 installation. No problems at all.

New Post: Temperature meter?

Some excellent ideas and I'd also reinforce the idea that simple is best. CPU and GPU would probably be enough.

I think the reason you don't see many temp monitors that actually get their own temp info and don't piggy back on top of say Everest or speedfan is the motherboard manufacturers don't release the information readily enough for programmers to really easily tap into providing temps for a wide range of boards.

My solution so far has been to use Everest running all the time displaying its onscreen list of temps for cpu/mobo/gpu/hd's. It makes for a neat little list that can just sit in the corner of the desktop without bothering me. It doesn't seem to get in the way of games or complex apps that take over Windows like some I could mention.

New Post: possibility of a download meter

possibility of a download meter

great work but could you fit four (4) tastbar meters in one (1) meter i only use the big icons ,small icons might be too much for a taskbar meter.

and maybe add option for colour blue (like windows logo)

(red green blue yellow) i lke blue like the ray

but most important download taskbar meter

thank you please

New Post: Show "biggest" process

First of all: You created some GREAT apps here! Thank you very much!

Here my suggestion: Change the window title to show the Process that uses the most CPU/RAM/IO. However, I like how the Taskbar Meters look when it only shows the icon without the application name. Right now, I am forced to choose between these two settings. Is it possible to make a change in your application to hide the application name and only show the icon in the taskbar so that I can continue to use application names on all of my other apps?

Thanks!

New Post: Temperature meter?

I would love to see a monitor for temperatures that could be added to the taskbar the same way these monitors are. I know it would require changing something with the icon since it takes up most of the usage space. I think it would be a nice addition if possible.
